Jim Pace

Liverpool – James A. “Jim” Pace, 70, of Liverpool passed away at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016, surrounded by his family at home.
He was born August 27, 1945, in Canton to Frank and Hester (Wilson) Pace.  He married Sylvia “Sib” Peterson on July 16, 1976, in Canton.  She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Jamie Pace of Creve Coeur; one brother, Frank Pace of Liverpool; and two grandchildren, Karlee and Taylor Wiesehan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Bill Pace.
Jim was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War.  He was retired from the Laborers’ Local 231, and was a member of the Canton VFW Post #1984.
Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private graveside services will be held at Liverpool Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
