Canton – Anthony Baptist, 58, of Canton passed away at 12:09 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on February 19, 1958 in Jacksonville, IL to Everett D. and Betty A. (Smith) Baptist.
Surviving is 3 brothers; John Michael McGuire of Jacksonville, IL, Paul Baptist of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Mark Baptist of Phoenix, Arizona, 3 sisters; Michelle Patches of Canton, Rosemary McGuire and Tara Baptist both of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Steven McGuire.
Anthony was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
