Canton – Audra Ludlum, 88, of Canton, passed away at 3:55 pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on May 19, 1929 in Elkhart, IN. to Ralph and Edna (Forry) Moyer. Audra married Carroll Ludlum on May 30, 1948 in Elkhart, IN. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2012. Also preceding her in death were her parents, son Dennis, son-in-law Tim, and two sisters. Surviving are her children; Mark (Julie) Ludlum, and the late Dennis (Cathy) Ludlum both of Canton, and Cheryl (late Tim) Conklin of Peoria, six grandchildren; Erica (Adam) Kinsey, Erin (Eric) Greven, Alysia (Chad) Hicks, Ryan (Christina) Conklin, Tyler Ludlum, and Matthew Ludlum, and eight great-grandchildren.
Audra was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Canton and a fifty plus year member of P.E.O. Audra worked with her husband in many family businesses over the years, including Ludlum Food Mart and Carrollton Apartments. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, musicals, and with the Y-Tones.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of ashes will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to either the Fulton County Humane Society or the First Presbyterian Church in Canton. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
