Liverpool – Karen Lynn Sheets, 53, of Liverpool, passed away at 5:15 PM on Friday, January 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on January 18, 1964 in Canton to Otis and Carol (Smith) Heffren. She married Randy Sheets on September 16, 2017 in Liverpool, IL. He survives.
Also surviving is her father, Otis; two children, Otis R. Schrodt of Lewistown and Amanda L. Richardson of Washington; two step children, Chris Sheets of Lewistown and Randi Jo (Josh) Black of Lewistown; six grandchildren; two sisters, Debra Heffren of Lewistown and Rebecca (Alfred) Seward of Ipava; lifelong friend, Patti Oest; and her fur babies, Sophie and Molly.
Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Carol and one brother, Donald Otis Heffren.
Karen had 20 plus years working at Headstart in Lewistown, IL. She loved boating, dancing, shuffleboard, and a clean house. Karen was always happy and the life of the room.
Services will be held at 12 PM noon on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL, where a visitation will be held from 10-Noon. Jayson Herrick will officiate. Following the service, burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown, IL. Memorials can be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
