Tim "Tay" Taylor
Canton – Tim “Tay” Taylor, 61, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria after complications from surgery.
He was born on October 8, 1956 in Canton to Virgil and Mary (Churchill) Taylor.
He married Karen Harris Crnkovich on May 11, 1984 in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother Mary (Glen) Medus, children, Karlee Crnkovich of Canton, Kolin Crnkovich of Canton, Trinity Taylor of Canton, sisters, Tanna (Kevin) Schnake of CO, Dawn Blunier of GA, grandchildren, Mackenzie Crnkovich, Phoenix Peters, Eden Crnkovich, his father-in-law, Mel (Loretta) Harris, his mother-in-law, Shirley Harris, several cousins, nieces and nephews and his dog Annabelle.
He was preceded in death by his father, one son Jacob Cole and one sister, Rhonda Taylor.
Tim worked at Art Hossler Auto Plaza in Canton. Tim made a big impression on nearly everyone he met. He loved to laugh and spend time with family. He also spent many hours with his friends living life to the fullest. He loved volunteering at the Springfield Mile, boating, riding his Harley and Scooter, attending “Deer Camp”, hunting, fishing, mushrooming at his dad’s farm, Wednesday night bowling league and playing pranks that “may have” involved some big booms. He was the Cubbies and Bears biggest fan.
Most of all he enjoyed spoiling his grandkids and dog.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 1-4 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a funeral service on Monday, at 11 am, at the funeral Home.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to Fulton County Humane Society or K.A.R.E.
