Canton – Jean Elizabeth (Landis) Mulligan, 89, of Canton, went to be with her lord and family at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton. She was born on December 6, 1928 in Jackson, MN to Perry and Herritta (Hansen) Landis. She married Louis D. Mulligan on October 11, 1947 in Canton, he preceded her in death on April 2, 2007.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Nathan Watson; two brothers; one sister; and several sisters in laws and brothers in laws.
Surviving are two children, Crystal (Gary) Malinowski of Canton, and Michael Mulligan of Canton; one grandson, Ryan (Kara) Watson of Peoria Heights; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Keighley Watson; brother in law, George “Fred” Mulligan of Canton; and three sisters in laws, Nelda (Lloyd) Wages of FL, Donna (Nelson) Maxwell of TX, and Peggy (Michael) McCreight of N.C.
Jean was a past member of Evangelical Free Church in Canton, IL.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL. Rev. Bill Walder will officiate. Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association. To make online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
