Canton – Jesse Peak, 24, of Canton, passed away at 10:45 pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Peoria County. He was born on September 29, 1993 in Peoria to Kenny Peak and Legina Jenkins. Surviving are his parents; Kenny (Tina) Peak of Canton and Legina (Richard) Mendenhall of Morton, one daughter Rylann Harrison of East Peoria, three brothers; Kirk Helms of Canton, Dylan Cowden of Canton, and Jakob Quick of Chillicothe, three sisters; Katelyn Mendenhall of Morton, Angel Helms of Canton, and Emma Quick of Rome, the love of his life Taylor Harrison of East Peoria, grandparents; Barb (Butch) Jenkins, Rosemary (late Ken) Peak, Rick (Carol) Mendenhall, and Helen Sowell all of Canton, and great-grandparents; Helen Peak of Macomb and Dick Hill of Canton.
Jesse worked at Dawson’s Fabrication in Kickapoo as a powder coater. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to Car &Coffee and Friday Night Lights events.
