Lewistown- Nancy L. Thompson, 81, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:20 AM Thursday January 11, 2018 at Graham Hospital.
She was born July 12, 1936 at Fulton County, the daughter of Cecil L. and Margaret E. (Krider) Bainter. She married Herschel Dean Thompson on April 5, 1956 at Lewistown. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Bill Bainter, and Robert Bainter. Survivors include three children, Susan (Jack) Hunkeapillar of Ipava, Sara (Lindell) Bainter of Lewistown, and Brian (Melissa) Thompson of Lewistown, five grandchildren, Jesse Coulter, Jordan Coulter, Marissa Bainter, Brianna Thompson, and Liberty Thompson, one great grandchild, Annabelle Coulter, and one sister, Joan Heffren of Canton.
Nancy worked for 22 years at the former Clarytona Nursing Home in Lewistown. She was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewistown United Methodist Church or the Lewistown Rescue Squad. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
