Patsy L. Ginger

Lewistown – Patsy L. Ginger, 81, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 23, 1936 in Lewistown to Dale and Mildred (Vaughn) Thrasher. She married Floyd “Red” Ginger in St. David, and was married 51 years. He preceded her in death.

Also, preceding in death are her parents; one son, Michael Ginger.

Patsy is survived by two children; Cindy (Mike) Duvall of Springfield, IL, and Eddy (Sandy) Ginger of Lewistown; one brother, James R. Thrasher of Gulf Shores, AL; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces, Sandi Kline, Debi Jones; and one nephew, James Thrasher.

Patsy was the Head cook for Lewistown High School for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lewistown. Patsy enjoyed bingo, crochet, cards, and was an avid clock collector.

Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. A private family burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Lewistown Rescue Squad. To make online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
