Canton -J. Keith Lenover, 92, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.
He was born on July 27, 1925 in Galesburg to Ross E. and Sina (Koewen) Lenover. They preceded him in death.
He married Norma Cook on April 3, 1948 in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving is his daughter, Pamela (Stephen) Binkley of Chicago, two grandchildren, Dr. Trissa (Sundeep Mullangi) Babrowski, Dr. Kara Babrowski, three great grandchildren, Kiran, Gian and Hastin Mullangi.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Keith served in the U.S. Marine Corp and later as a receiving clerk for Hiram Walkers in Peoria. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and Scottish rite, Canton Elks Lodge #626 and the Canton American Legion.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Wesley United Methodist Church, in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the church.
Burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made to Morning Star Lodge #734 or to Wesley United Methodist Church 1895 restoration fund.
