Lewistown- Charlotte Lou Noland, 82, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:45 PM Tuesday January 2, 2018 at her home.
She was born March 21, 1935 at Canton, the daughter of Russell W. and Mary Kathryn (Bainter) Jones. She married her loving husband Gilbert Noland on June 6, 1953 at Lewistown. He survives along with her daughter and best friend, Tamra (Montye) Jolliff of Lewistown, a loving grandson, Justin Derry of Lewistown, one sister, Peggy Cook of Canton, her dog Kelsee Sue, several brother and sister in laws, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother in law, Larry Cook.
Charlotte worked 35 years for the Regional Superintendent of Schools. She was a Christian woman and a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown. She was a member of the Lewistown Alumni Association, Junior Women’s Club, and Lakewood Golf Association. She was an avid bowler and golfer, and loved bingo, walking, and working in her yard.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to services. Cremation will be accorded following the services.
