William "Bill" Snider

William “Bill” D. Snider, 88, of Canton, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at renaissance Care Center in Canton.

He was born on July 17, 1937 in Canton to David and Mary Jane (Schilling) Snider.

He married Judith Workman on September 12, 1959 in Canton. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Michael (Kelly) Snider of Canton, Julie (Bob) Riley of The Villages, FL, Lesa (the late Drake) Smith of Canton, Matt Snider, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three sisters, Sharon (Dave) Branchfield, Marilyn (Harvey)  Hedges and Susan (Dave)  Bowling.

Bill was the owner and operator of Fulton County Home Improvement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trap shooting. He was an expert marksman and was awarded many titles. He also had a passion for sports including, baseball and basketball. He was a member of Lakeland Community Church.

Most of all Bill loved his family.

Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A graveside burial of his ashes will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11 am at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to Lakeland Community Church.
