She was born on December 1, 1930 in Trumann, Arkansas to John and Laura (Kemp) Casiday.
She married Grant Sornson on April 28, 1950 in Dyess Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2012.
Surviving are her children, Al (Pamela) Sornson of Waco, TX, Myra (Kathy Weber) Sornson of Manito, one brother, J.D. Casiday, one sister, Marty Gann and one grandson, Shane.
Also preceding her in death is her brother, T.J. Casiday, sisters, Pat Phillips, Minnie Pitman, Evelyn Noble and Judy Frampton.
Daisy worked as a bus driver for the Farmington School District for 40 years. She was a member of the Farmington Moose, Farmington Bible Church and the Farmington American Legion Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching sports.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A graveside burial of her ashes will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at noon at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington. The family will receive friends for a time of food and fellowship at the Farmington Moose from 10:30 until time of service on Friday.
