Verlarose “Rosie” M. Lyons

Verlarose “Rosie” Marie Lyons, 78, of Havana, passed away at her home at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 26, 1948 in Bath to Virgil and Mildred (Lacey) Blodgett. She married Earl Lyons on April 18, 1970 and he preceded her in death in 2019.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Billie Jo (Mike Roth) Lyons of Havana; grandson, Quincey Adam French; siblings, Elizabeth (Donnie) Hughes of Bath; Rhonda (Spencer) Jones of Havana, Arlen (Kay) Blodgett of Havana, Lorie (Carroll) Whitmer of Cuba, and Randy Blodgett of Canton; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Rose Lea Blodgett; step-son, Stephen Lyons; and grandson, Zachory Taylor French.
Rosie was a stay-at-home mom and grandma. She enjoyed bird watching, feeding the squirrels in her yard, and spending time outside.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
