He was born in Marrietta, on February 2, 1950, to Morris and Hazel (Paul) Howard. They preceded him in death as well as two brothers, Chuck and Rex Howard.
Tom married Dianna (Yocum) on October 3, 1969. She also preceded him in death on December 3, 2019.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Kevin) Kieffer, and son Nicholas (Christine) Howard, brother, Eldon (Linda) Howard, sister, Faye Heap, and three grandchildren, Michaela Kieffer, Matthew Kieffer, and Madison Kieffer.
Tom is a Veteran of the United States Army. He served two tours in Vietnam with the 82nd Airbourne Division. He served the city of Bushnell as a police officer for several years and also owned and operated Yesterdays Treasures in Good Hope. He enjoyed collecting antiques, jewelry, gold and silver for his store, going to the casino, and frying fish. Most of all Tom loved spending time with his family.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
