It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Sue Gray, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, who left us on March 7, 2025 at the age of 67. Leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will be cherished forever. Born on December 5, 1957, in Monroe, WI, to Gerald Ralph Gray and Betty Mae (VanTine) Gray, Debra Gray devoted her life to her family and community. She was the loving mother of Corrina (Jay) Freiheit and Timothy (Michelle Lockwood) Trobaugh. Her greatest joy, however, was being a Grammy to Evan (Lexie) Stufflebeam, Ashtyn Stufflebeam, Addysen Stufflebeam, Gabrielle Trobaugh, Gavin Stufflebeam, and Jason Trobaugh, and her 3 great-grandchildren, who she adored beyond measure. Debra Gray was also a cherished sister, survived by her beloved brothers, Steven Gray, Phillip (Tera) Gray, Jerry (Joell) Gray, and Brian Gray, and a sister-in-law, Cathy (Tullis) Gray. She often shared fond memories of growing up on the farm with her brothers, telling stories filled with laughter, adventure, and the simple joys of childhood. These stories were a testament to her deep love for her family and her roots. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Gregory Gray, and her grandson, Elijah Stufflebeam. Debra Gray had a gift for bringing people together, especially through her incredible cooking. Her home was a place of comfort and joy, where countless memories were made over her delicious meals and warm laughter. She took pride in hosting family gatherings, making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her recipes, some passed down through generations and others created from her own culinary creativity, will continue to be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to sit at her table. Beyond her talents in the kitchen, Debra Gray was a constant source of wisdom, kindness, an unwavering support for her grandchildren. She celebrated their achievements, comforted them during difficult times, and imparted invaluable life lessons with her gentle guidance. Her love for them was boundless, and her influence will continue to inspire them for years to come. Debra Gray will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, generosity, and warmth will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will remain present in every shared meal, every loving embrace, and every moment of joy. Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Friday, March 14 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date. All who loved her are welcome to attend and share their memories. Memorials can be made to the Fulton County Humane Society Rest in peace, Debra Gray. You will forever be loved and remembered.
