Ruby M. Agee

Ruby May Agee, 96, of Canton, Illinois, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Red Oak Estates in Canton. She was born on July 24, 1928 in Fulton County, Illinois to Harry and Josephine (Miller) Hagney. She married Albert Agee on June 20, 1953 and he preceded her in death.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Susan Agee of Austin, Texas and many doting nieces and nephews here in Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Helen Siguaw, Grace Weaver, and Margaret Hagney; and brothers, Mike Hagney, Floyd Hagney, and Lawrence Hagney.

Ruby was a member of the Havana Church of Christ.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Pastor Bill Boyce will officiate.
