He was born in Sterling, Illinois, to Carol Clayton and Rose (Petitgoue) England. They preceded him in death along with one sister, Patricia (Joseph) Esop.
He is survived by his wife Beverly (Pierce) England, whom he married on May 31, 2014.
Also surviving are three children, Brian (Celesta) England, Kevin England and Andrea (James) Strode, two step children, Nicholas (Jennifer) Fritz, and Kegan Fritz, and eight grandchildren, Quentin, Harrison, Braden, Olivia, Addyson, Easton, Miranda, and Jaxson.
Craig first worked for Farm King in Canton. He then built and owned and operated ACE hardware in canton in the early 90’s and later he retired from Lowe’s in Peoria in 2014. He enjoyed music, drawing, photography, and collecting die cast cars. Craig loved spending time with his family. He was always the one to plan a get together, and enjoyed the times they had together.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held on March 17, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 5p.m. at the Canton Elks Lodge #626.
