Donald Easley, Jr.

Astoria- Donald Ray Easley Jr., 64 of Astoria, passed away at 8:13 AM on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1958 in Beardstown, a son of Donald and Margaret (Humphrey- Bopp) Easley Sr. He married Brenda Wilson on September 22, 2022 in Astoria. She survives.

Also surviving is his granddaughter, Maija Watkins, whom lived and raised by him and Brenda. One son, Joshua (Clarette) Easley of Macomb; step-daughter, Haley Summers of Beardstown; his mother, Margaret (Gary) Bopp of Astoria; two brothers, Gary Easley, and Everett (Susan) Easley both of Astoria; two sisters, Deb (Mike) Noble of Havana; Carol (Ron Kimbrell) Easley of Vermont, and seven granddaughters, Violet of Macomb; Ella Mae of Beardstown; Teresa of Macomb; Cheyanne, Aleigha, and Aubry Summers of Winchester; Sophia Coats of Beardstown, and one grandson, Memphis of Winchester.

He was preceded in death by his father, and one step-son, Drew Summers.

Donnie was a retiree of the labors local #165, and he enjoyed fishing, horseraces, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Per his wishes, there will be no services, cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton. A celebration of life gathering will be held at later date. Memorials can be made to his family. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
