Carissa Sue Schnarr, 44, of Marrietta, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
She was born on July 6, 1978 in Peoria to Dairl Douglas and Linda Sue (Miller) Adams. She was preceded in death by her father Dairl Douglas Adams, her mother Linda Sue Dugan, step father, Steven Dugan and one brother, Dairl Adams.
She is survived by two children, Sam Schnarr of Peoria, Ariel Schnarr of Cuba, three brothers, Rusty Parsons, Jimmy Adams, Ben Adams, two sisters, Crissy Vigna, Cherilyn Chipman, step mother, Billie Adams and one grandchild, Aurora, on the way.
Carissa worked as a CNA for Clayberg, Heartland, Sunset and Renaissance Care Center. She also worked for the Department of Human Services and lastly at Landmark in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
