He was born on June 29, 1948, in Fiatt, to John and Lillian (Weidhuner) Pasley. They preceded him in death.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Troy Pasley, great niece, Kelsey Cox, great nephew, Landon Pasley, brothers, Larry “Joe” Pasley and Gary Pasley.
Also preceding him in death are his brothers, John Pasley, Bob Weidhuner, Fred Pasley, Ronnie Pasley, Glen Pasley and sister Donna Baker.
Poodie served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 11am, at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. There will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at the VFW in Canton from 4-7 on Monday June 26, 2023.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton has been entrusted with services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
