She was born April 12, 1944 at St. Louis, MO; the daughter of Van Buren and Lillie M. (Diamond) Murphy. She married Dennis D. Williams on January 12, 1963 at the First Baptist Church in New Douglas, IL. He died March 1, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Surviving are three children, Tina (Ralph) Foose Jr. of Farmington, Dennis (Jennifer) Williams Jr. of Washington, IA; and Michelle (Justin) Hagy of Canton, one brother, Thomas Murphy, two sisters, Debbie Sinclair and Rhonda (Larry) Mayer, all of Centralia, fourteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
Beverly retired from healthcare after 33 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Havana.
Beverly had taught Sunday School for 38 years. She enjoyed camping with her husband, working on crossword puzzles, reading, working outside, collecting bells, putting puzzles together, and going to gospel sings all over the country. Most of all Beverly enjoyed being with her family, they were her world as well as her church family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday June 12th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church in Havana.
