She was born on September 20, 1926 in Fulton County to Robert and Emma (Oaks) Severt.
She married Byron Tindall in July of 1943. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1965. She later married, Lynn Porter in February of 1967. He also preceded her in death on June 30, 1988.
Also surviving are her children, Byron Lee Tindall of Canton, Sandra Kay Tindall Reynolds of Rantoul, Pamela Joyce Zemball of Holly Hills, FL, Gregory Lynn Tindall of Canton, Paula Mae Noe of Ipava, fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is her brother, Russell Severt, sisters, Lois Lingenfelter, Dorothy Harrison, Velma Ulrey and Alberta Postin.
She worked as a waitress at various restaurants and at Day and Palin.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A graveside burial of the ashes will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 1pm.
