Neal is survived by his children, David Lascelles, Gary Lascelles, and Deborah Lascelles; grandchildren, Jeremiah Lascelles and Angie Lascelles; and great-grandchildren, Bentley and Gannon Lascelles. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda Lascelles; brothers, Marvin, Mervin, and Don Lascelles; and grandson, Joshua Lascelles.
Neal was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He worked as a farmer for many years and was also an avid fisherman.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time.
