She was born on October 29, 1946 in Canton to Burnett “Buck” and Mary (Fierce) Tompkins.
She married Bill McCamey on July 14, 1984 in Canton. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Becky (Dan) Buchen of Glasford, Diana (Troy) Eeten of Cuba, two brothers, Jim (Marianne) Tompkins, Dennis (Linda) Tompkins, six grandchildren, Luke, Meredith, Trace, Brooke, Macy, Emma, one great grandchild, Hudson and brother-in-law, Randy McMillen.
She was preceded in death by her father Buck, mother Mary Stutsman, step father Pete and one sister, Susie McMillen.
She retired in 2010 from Spoon River College as the Adult Education Program Coordinator. She was a Master Gardener and was of the Catholic Faith.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. A private burial of her ashes will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton
