William is survived by his parents; grandparents, Michael and Rita Wilkinson; two sisters, Mikayla (Joseph) Knott and Destiney (Makayla Stockov) Cozad; one namesake nephew, William “Liam” Knott; one uncle, Brett (Tiffany) Wilkinson; and two cousins, Brock (Elizabeth) Wilkinson and Trent (Brittany Krampe) Wilkinson.
He is preceded in death by his beloved sister, Cheyenne Edwards and her much anticipated baby; great-grandparents, Vernon “Lee” and Blanche Wilkinson; one uncle, R. Brice Wilkinson; and one aunt, Brenda Wilkinson.
William, perpetual jokester, loved life. He enjoyed traveling here in the States and through Spain, France and Italy in Europe. But of all the places he visited; New Orleans was his favorite. He enjoyed kayaking, frisbee golfing, skateboarding, video games, family gatherings and snowboarding. But William’s favorite times were spent camping and sitting around the bonfire having a beer with his buddies.
A private family visitation will be held at Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory following services.
