Judith A. Williams

Canton- Judith A. Williams, 83, of Canton, passed away at 7:40 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Bloomington. She was born on January 10, 1940 in Canton, a daughter of Lyman and Beulah (Snowden) Conrad. She married Charles “Chuck” Williams on June 9, 1958 at the South Park United Methodist Church in Canton. He survives.


Also surviving are her children, Janice (Andy Hussemann) Wood of Mahomet, Illinois; Charles (Annie) Williams of Glendale, Arizona; Valerie (Bill) Terry of Canton; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Beverly Lowe, and Linda (Ray) Fairburn.


Judith was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Janice Carol; and two brothers, Robert Stevens, Lewis Ray.

She worked in housekeeping at Graham Hospital, and as a bartender at Linn Lanes for several years. She is a former member of South Park United Methodist Church in Canton, and later a member of Bryant Christian Church, and a member of the Rebekah Lodge.


A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where a visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Pastor Brian Ebert will officiate. Burial will follow the services in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials can be made to the Shriner’s Hospital or to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
