Also surviving Donna are her 2 children,Joseph (Wendy) Landon and Todd (Kelli) Landon; 2 grandchildren, Benjamin and Alex Landon; and 2 brothers, Gary (Peggy) Meminger and Louis (Gail) Meminger.
Preceding her in death were both of her parents; step-father, Ethridge Hogue; one son, Kenneth Landon; one brother, Carl Meminger; and her sister, Karen Meminger.
Donna loved learning and graduated from Winola High School. She then graduated with a degree in teaching from Western Illinois University. She taught grade levels from elementary to junior high, and later taught at Illinois Central College and Illinois State University.
Donna continued her studies in Information Technology and became an I.T. Analyst/ Programmer at Caterpillar Tractor Company; from which she retired. Donna remained active in adult education classes and tutoring. She even received a certification from University of Illinois Extension as a Master Gardener.
She loved the arts, such as pottery and painting. Donna also loved Gardening, her church, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted member of Smithville Bible Church; serving various times as Board Member and treasurer. She was an avid supporter of Faith Bible Camp and other ministries.
Funeral services for Donna will be at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton. A visitation will be held prior, from 10:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow services in Smithville Cemetery in rural Hanna City, IL.
