She was born on July 26, 1941, in Fulton County to Benjamin and Edwana (Fouts) Hess.
She married Lawrence Churchill. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are three children, Mike (Cindy) Utt of London Mills, Michelle (Tony) Hansmeyer of Canton, Jamie (Robert) Wirebaugh of Canton, grandchildren, Micheal (Kelly) Utt, Brandy (Dave) Ferguson, Christina Hansmeyer, Darrell Hansmeyer, Shylo (Damien) Rich, Dustin Shuh, Parisalli Wirebaugh and great grandchildren, Austin Utt, Logan Utt, Jace Ferguson, Charlie Ferguson, Reese Ferguson, Malkavia Blaine, Camzen Hansmeyer, Amelia Hansmeyer, Presley Stewart, Gage Rich and Rylan Rich.
Also preceding her in death is one brother, J.Q. Hess, sister, Madeline Timmons and step brother, Frank Hess.
Maryann worked as a CNA for Graham Hospital and Heartland Home Health.
Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton and a graveside burial of the ashes will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11 am at the Maryville Cemetery in Bryant.
