Dorance O. "Butch" Smysor, Jr.

Dorance O. “Butch” Smysor Jr, 75, of Canton, passed away at 8:35 am, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his residence. He was born on June 20, 1947 in Liverpool to Dorance O. and Grace L. (DeWitt) Smysor Sr. Surviving is mother Grace L. Smysor of Cuba, two children Marlo J. (Douglas) Wax of Mansfield and Jack D. Smysor of Cuba, brother Dennis O. Smysor of Smithfield, sister Diane M. Decker of Cuba, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, daughter Laura L. Williams and sister Donita M. Smysor.

Butch worked as a welder at many factories. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
