He was born on March 10, 1959, in Peoria to Harold and Kathryn Bell. They preceded him in death along with one son, Daniel Robert.
He previously married Beth Ann.
Surviving is one daughter, Michelle (Eric) Bailey of West Peoria, one son, David Lee, one sister, Janet Ricca and three grandchildren, Jordan, Jayceon and Jarell.
David worked for the State of Illinois as a corrections officer. He enjoyed rock and roll music including Kiss and Ozzy.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
