Dick E. Brown, 78, of Canton, passed away at 10.33 am, Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Farmington. He was born on February 20, 1945 in Smithfield to Lyle K. and Maureen (Bordner) Brown. He married Linda D. Burroughs on June 15, 1968 in Canton. She preceded him in death on September 5, 2011. Also preceding him death were his parents, two brothers and one sister. Surviving are two children; Dick “D.J.” (Misty L.) Brown II of Canton and Kimberly Kell of Texas, two brothers; Carl Brown on Lewistown and Adam Brown of Arkansas, two sisters; Patty Smith and Amy Brown both of Missouri, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Dick retired in 1996 from Caterpillar Inc. after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Canton Elks Club.
Visitation will be from 3-5 pm, Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Cremation rites will take place after visitation with burial of ashes at a later date in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
