Kenneth Eugene Edwards, 86, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Canton.
He was born on January 21, 1934, in Marbletown, Illinois to James and Mable (Keller) Edwards. They both preceded him in death.
He married Carolyn K. (Hallmark) on March 11, 1966 in Lewistown. She preceded him in death in 2004.
He is survived by four children, Michael Edwards of Wasola Missouri, Randy (Bonny) Edwards of Theodosia Missouri, Patty (Jr) Hoffman of Canton Illinois, and Darrin (Amy) Edwards of Fairview Illinois, one brother Stanley Edwards, thirteen grandchildren, Shona (Alejandro),Christine, Randy, James, Michael (Amanda), Ethan, Alize`, Arriana, Oliver, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Hunter, and Kourtney, twelve great grandchildren, Kamisha, Garrett, Cayden, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, Sheris, Brielle, Seth, Illiyana, Zachary, Olivia, and Julian one great great grandchild, Oliver.
He is also preceded in death by two children, Darrell Edwards, and Julie Hoffman, two brothers, James Edwards and Jerry Edwards and one sister, Jessie Edwards.
Kenneth was a member of the Teamster Local #627. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses belonging to the Canton Kingdom Hall. He loved to hunt, fish, relic hunting and flea markets. Most of all he loved all of his grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
A Facebook live stream will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. on the Oaks- Hines Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page.
Memorials may be made to The Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Canton.
