Adeline Violet Walton, 9, Canton passed away Sunday December 20, 2020 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born December 5, 2011 in Peoria, to Shane and Amanda Walton, surviving.

She is survived by one sister Althea Raelea, two brothers Andrew Joseph (Quick) and Huxley Tyler, maternal grandparents Robin and Paul Miller, paternal grandmother Sherry Walton, 3 great-grandparents Dorothy Farrow, Violet Gehrke, Fred Farrow, three uncles Tyler Miller, Scott (Maya Coleman), Seth (Naomi) Walton, eight cousins, Cameron, Izaya, Leo, Brielle, Rio, Chloe, Kia, and Penny, one aunt Shanielle (Clint) Wenzl, 8 great aunts and uncles, 14 second cousins, and 24 third cousins.

She was preceded in death by one sister Shelby Quick, one grandfather Steven Walton, three great grandparents Leon Gehrke, JoAnne Miller, Wilbur Miller, one great uncle Ryan Gehrke, and one second cousin Chase Hires.

While we are grieving our loss and our hearts are filled with sorrow, we take great comfort in knowing that some of the best are taking care of her and that she’s getting to play with Chandler, her dog she recently lost.

Adeline lived life to its fullest. She could always make you laugh with a quick wit and the most dynamic personality. She loved her uncle and grandparent’s dog, Dexter, Dani and Lily. She loved her CAPA ballet family, her best friends Delaynee, Sofi, Leah, and Braelynn, talking to midnight with Althea, Cece, and Cocoa. She taught us all to love harder with her constant constant, cuddles and kisses.

Adeline dreamed of being a famous actress and was able to film Peoria TV Show. We are so thankful that in her short life, she had such an amazing life. She enjoyed family vacations, loved the ocean, got to fly, went to Disneyland and Disney World, saw Pikes Peak, eat VooDoo donuts in Portland OR, and Wisconsin Dells, to name a few.

She loved her family harder than anyone I’ve ever met. We will never forget her and she will always be missed. I feel so blessed that I got to be her mom and her dad feels the same.

A private family service will be held at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Cremation rites will follow the service. Memorials may be made to an education fund set up for Adeline’s siblings. To view Adeline’s DVD or to make online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
