John R. Grigsby Sr., 90, of Canton, passed away at 5:25 am, Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on June 12, 1930 to Charles and Dollie (German) Grigsby. John married Lorraine Lehnhausen on September 27, 1951 in Lewistown. She survives along with three daughters-in-law; Luann (late John Jr.) Grigsby, Teresa (late Michael) Grigsby, and Angie (late Kevin) Grigsby, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one brother Ken Grigsby. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons; John Jr, Michael, and Kevin and two sisters.
John was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of the Fairview Masonic Lodge. He owned and operated Valley Radio & TV in Fairview for many years and later retired from Caterpillar.
John loved fishing in Minnesota, woodworking and spending the winters in Florida with Lorraine.
