Bonnie Anne McFall


Bonnie Anne McFall, 75, of Elmwood, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020,
surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born to Anthony Joseph Ulrich and Margaret Emma
Swanson, on July 26, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio. She married Harry Glen McFall, III, on June 18,
1976. She often said, "It was a package agreement." She was blessed with a loving husband
and three children on the same day. Harry and Bonnie were also blessed to add their daughter,
Beth Margaret, in 1979.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Harry; her children, Coleen McFall Elmwood, IL, Harry
McFall (Christen) Elmwood, IL, Matthew McFall (Trisha), and Beth Morrell (Nathan) Pana, IL; ten
grandchildren, Kirsten, Hailey, Bridget, Regan, Riley, Braden, Kyran, Ada McFall and Paige and
John Morrell; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Downing and Kaleb McFall. She is also
survived by her brother, Joseph Ulrich (Lisa) Peoria, AZ. Her father, mother, and brother, Anthony Joseph Ulrich Jr., preceded Bonnie in death.

In May 1966, Bonnie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Saint Francis in
Joliet, IL. She went on to obtain her Masters of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Iowa. Bonnie also earned a teaching certificate in special education. She started her teaching career for the Bridgeview-Justice School District. She was a teacher for the
majority of her career for the Farmington School District. After retirement, she continued
teaching and volunteering at Pleasant Hill School District. Bonnie spent over 40 years in
education.

Bonnie was baptized into the Christian faith as an infant. She maintained that faith and rejoiced
in the worship of God with all who believe that the Bible is the Holy Word of God. She believed
that Jesus is the only way to God. For the past five years, Bonnie has worshipped and studied
with the Christian Church family at Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Elmwood. Bonnie
was also an active member of Elmwood's PEO Chapter.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Crossroads Assembly of God Food Bank.
A private service for the family and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
