Jonathan A. Zeglen


Jonathon Andrew Zeglen, 52, of Farmington, passed away at 8:07 AM on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center. He was born on August 26, 1963 to Adolph and Eleanor (Eveland) Zeglen Jr.

Surviving are two daughters, Nicole Zeglen of Farmington and Melissa Zeglen of Farmington; one brother Daniel Zeglen and son Austin Zeglen of Green River, WY; one sister Kathryn (Scott) Quartier of Westville, IL; and sons Bryce (Jenna) Quartier of Washington, IL and Chris (Amber) Quartier of Denver, CO; and his father Adolph Zeglen Jr. of Farmington.

Preceding him in death is his mother Eleanor (Eveland) Zeglen.

Jon was a licensed plumber for Unity Point Methodist in Peoria, IL. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and taking trips to Wyoming to hunt elk. He also shared his love of the outdoors with his two daughters who also love to fish and hunt.

Services will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington. Lyle Ray will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the funeral home. Cremation rights will be accorded following funeral services. Burial of the ashes will be at a later date.
