        and Carcy Derry.
        5 Great-Grandchildren:  Preslea Parker, Markize Dixon, Rylea Parker,
        Trudy Jockisch, and Everlea Parker.

Occupation:   Donnie graduated from VIT High School in 1960.  He worked for Caterpillar following graduation and later worked for Tingley Products in Ipava, IL.  He also worked for Ken-Ray Foundry in Vermont, IL and as a driller for the coal mine in Canton, IL.  He then farmed in the Ipava and Havana area.
Military:         Army veteran.
Memberships:   Ipava American Legion and the Ipava Christian Church.  He enjoyed playing both fast pitch and slow pitch softball and helped develop the Ipava ball park.  He was a “master” card player and avid Dallas Cowboy, St. Louis Cardinal, and Fighting Illini fan.  He took great joy in attending his family’s ball games.  Donnie always wanted to work and never enjoyed taking the day off.
Services:     12:00 noon on Saturday, November 14th, 2015
Place:          Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL
Officiating:     Pastor Doug Krukewitt
Visitation:          10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 14th at the funeral home.
Interment:     Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Memorials:      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ipava American Legion
                          or the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate in Peoria, IL.
