Raymond Dean Stucky


Fairview-Raymond Dean Stucky, 83, of Fairview, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at 12:15 pm, at his residence.
He was born on September 11, 1931 in Fiatt to Raymond L. and Mildred (Fluke) Stucky.  They preceded him in death.
He married Lillian T. Langenstein on June 14, 1952 in Galesburg.  She preceded him in death on May 1, 2005.
Surviving are two children, Stanley Stucky of Ellisville, Radine (Dennis) Kellogg-Sanders of Fairview, four grandchildren, Jennifer Cozart, Timothy (Annette) Stucky, Cody (Sarah) Kellogg, Avery Kellogg and his special friend Ruth Ann Bryan.
Raymond served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and later worked for Midland Coal Company from where he retired.  He was a member of the UMWA Local 1523, Fulton County Farm Bureau, Fin and Feather Club, Fairview American Legion, several antique tractor associations and served as Deerfield Township Trustee..
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5-7 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, with a funeral service on Saturday, June 13, 2015, 10 a.m., at the funeral home.
Burial with military honors will be held at the Fairview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fairview Fire Department.
