She was born January 22, 1924 at rural Ellisville the daughter of Wylie and Annie Rogers (Berry) Blackwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Surviving is one sister, Iris Anne Blackwell of Cuba and formerly of Santa Barbara, CA; three nephews, and two nieces. Lillian graduated from Ellisville High School in 1941 where she was class president and valedictorian. She graduated from Cottage Hospital School of Nursing at Galesburg in 1943. Lillian worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. She traveled extensively with her sister Iris all over the world.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday March 29th at Brimfield Township Cemetery with Pastor Ellen Dodd officiating. Online condolences may be made at henrylange.com.
