Larry Hughes

Larrys D. Hughes, 81, of Canton, passed away, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at his home. He was born on March 1, 1942, to Clarence and Vivian (Haegaman) Hughes. They preceded him in death, along with two brothers.

Larry is survived by two sons, Dan (Pamela) Hughes of Canton, and Kevin (Mary) Hughes of Florida, and two grandchildren, Ryan Hughes and Andrea Hughes.

Larry retired from Caterpillar in East Peoria in 1995. He enjoyed camping and going to casinos in his free time. Mostly Larry enjoyed playing music he was a gifted guitar player and was involved with numerous bands over the years.

A memorial service will be held at Monday, January 15, 2023 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
