Carol J. Zink Helle, 82 of Canton passed away on March 7, 2021 at her residence. She was born on June 8, 1938 in Canton to Theodore and Mabel (Hall) Ellis. Carol married Dean Zink on April 6, 1959 in Canton. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1996. She later married James Helle. Surviving are two sons Robert “Bob” (Laura) Zink and Larry (Sabrina) Zink both of Canton, six grandchildren; Mandy (Cody) Manock, Ryan Zink, Joshua (Stephanie) Zink, Jacob (Jessie) Zink, Thomas Zink and Sage Zink and six great-grandchildren; Logan Clardy, Emma Clardy, Elliott Zink, Emmett Zink, Jacob Zink Jr. and Leigha Zink.
Carol was also preceded in death by her parents, one son Kenneth Zink, two brothers; Lee Ellis and Bob Ellis and one sister Mary Braun.
Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of ashes will take place in White Chapel Memory Gardens at a later date. Memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
