Anthony Joachim

 

Anthony Joachim, 17, formerly of Cuba, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born on February 29, 2004 in Peoria.

Surviving is his mother, Nancy Branstetter of Cibolo, Texas, his father Kristopher (his 2nd mother Loretta) Joachim of Wee-Ma-Tuk, Maternal grandparents, Ralph Branstetter of Canton and Nancy Lock of Cuba, Paternal grandparents, Mike and Patty Joachim of Wee-Ma-Tuk, paternal great grandmother, Elieen Kirkbride of N.C., sister, Alexis Conklin, and brother Donovan Murphy.

Anthony enjoyed playing video games, golfing, music, watersports, animals and working with his family at GM Mechanical. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Cremation rites have been accorded by the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton with a private burial of the ashes to be held at Baughman Cemetery in Smithfield.

The Branstetter family will be having a Celebration of his life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the American Legion in Canton from 1-4 pm.

Memorials may be made to the St Jude's Children's Hospital.
