Lewistown- Richard “Dick” K. Henderson, 72, of Lewistown passed away at 3:50 AM Thursday March 22, 2018 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
He was born February 13, 1946 at Canton the son of Dwight K. and Mary (Ryan) Henderson. He married Susan McMillan on October 16, 1972 at Macomb. She survives along with two children, Richard K. Henderson Jr. of Cuba and Micki (Ken Sheets) Henderson of Lewistown, one grandson, Dwight Sheets of Lewistown, two sisters, Evelyn Henderson and Joanne Henderson both of Lewistown and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, two brothers and one sister.
Richard was a relay driver for Canton Ledger, Peoria Journal Star, and Macomb News Agency. He enjoyed working on old cars and tractors and spending time with his grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday March 26th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
