Lewistown- Alfred L. Neuendorf, 85, of rural Lewistown, passed away at 2:12 PM Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Graham Hospital.
He was born July 1, 1932 at Kewanee, the son of Alfred A. and Vivian (Hood) Neuendorf. He married Wanda Baker on September 18, 1954 at the Maples Mills Church. She preceded him in death on August 22, 1998. He was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Survivors include his sons, Tim (Deb) Neuendorf of Delevan, David Neuendorf of Hartsburg, Ted (Shar) Neuendorf of rural Lewistown, and Rodney (Tracy) Neuendorf of Cuba, six grandchildren, Tessa, Tara, David, Hannah, Ben, and Willard, three great grandchildren, Alaina, Tristan, and Bryce, two sisters, Norma (Dick) Kuntz of Dunlap, and Marilyn Anderson of Peoria, and one brother, Larry (Ruth) Neuendorf of Aurora.
Al retired from the Operating Engineers Local 649. He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Lewistown United Methodist Church where visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Pastor Shane Smith will officiate and burial will be in Apple Cemetery with military honors conducted by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and American Legion Bishop Post 1.
