Canton – Jonita Daum, 69, of Canton passed away at 12:10 pm Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born on March 20, 1948 in Canton to John and Ruth (Williams) Lynch. Surviving are three children; Shannon Miller and Meagan Morse both of Canton and Jodi (Doug) Gohde of Wee-Ma-Tuk, three sisters, Sharlee Utsinger of Florida, Billie Howater and Joan Bradley both of Canton, eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Jonita was preceded in death by her parents, son Troy Hedges, and two brothers; Randy and Ralph Ellis.
She worked as a R.N. at Graham Hospital for 32 years in the I.C.U. Jonita lived for her family especially her kids and grandkids. She loved her coffee, her shows especially horror films, dancing and swimming in the creek.
Services will be 2 pm Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
