Roland Forsythe

Roland Forsythe, 79, of Havana, passed away at Arcadia Havana, at 11:35 a.m., on Monday, January 12, 2026. He was born October 12, 1946, in Pekin, Illinois, to Ross and Eda Marie (Tegedes) Forsythe.

Mr. Forsythe is survived by one brother, Allen Forsythe, of Forest City. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Anna Carolyn Moss and Irma Catherine Cypher, and one niece, Marie Fay Forsythe.

Mr. Forsythe was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. He enjoyed coloring pictures and making bead bracelets.

Funeral services will be held at Havana Church of Christ on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m., prior to the services at his church. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery, in Havana. Tim Sickmeyer will officiate.
