Alex J. Oller

Cuba-Alex J. Oller, 22, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022.

He was born on September 7, 1999 in Peoria to Riley and Sarah (Wys) Oller.
Surviving is his mother, two brothers, Joey Oller of Cuba, Robbie (Lindsy) Oller, niece, Ryleigh, all of Bath, maternal grandmother, Marsha Wys, maternal step grandmother, Jan Wys, maternal great grandmother, Jean Pettet, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his girlfriend, Lily Abernathy.
He was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandfather, Fritz Wys.
Alex received his associates degree from Spoon River College where he played baseball. He was employed by Per Mar Security Service. He was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church and was working on his personal trainer certificate. He was an avid sports fanatic, especially the Cubs and Bears but his passion was baseball. Alex never knew a stranger and was a friend to everyone he would meet. He always lived his life to the fullest.
He was a true mama's boy that loved his family. He made us proud every day!
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton from 4-7pm with a funeral service on Saturday, 11 am at the funeral home.
COVID-19 restrictions will require masks while in the building.
Burial will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to Cuba High School Baseball or to Fulton County Humane Society.
