Farmington – Daniel Johnson, 61, of Farmington passed away at 12:33 pm, Sunday, February 19, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on May 21, 1955 in Peoria, IL to Joseph and Shirley (Broors) Johnson.
Daniel married Donna Snider on November 9, 2003 in Brimfield. She survives along with a step-son Chancy Johnson of Canton, four brothers; David Johnson of Brimfield, Ernest Johnson of Farmington, Richard (Diane) Johnson of Washington State and Charles Johnson of Peoria, two sisters; Deborah (Scott) Kroesen of Brimfield and Linda Geick of Peoria.
Daniel worked as a self-employed tree trimmer. His hobbies included fishing and watching sports. Daniel even in death was a giver. He donated his organs to the Gift of Hope.
Visitation will be from 10am until noon on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association. To leave online condolences, please visit www.oakshinesfuneralhome.com
