St.
David – Virginia E. Luster, 94, of St. David, died at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday,
January 1, 2015 at her son’s home in Peoria.
She
was born March 9, 1920 in Columbia, TN to William R. and Lee E. (Whitehead)
Ayers. She married J.T. Luster on February
23, 1940, in Columbia, TN. He preceded
her in death on October 15, 2003.
She
is survived by her son, Gary and beloved daughter-in-law, Barb Luster, of
Peoria; three grandchildren, Kevin, Ken, and Michael Luster; and eleven
great-grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward and Niles Ayers; and
two sisters, Willadean Ayers and Gladys Collyer.
Virginia
worked for many years as a driver, transporting handicap children to school in
Peoria. She was a former member of the
St. David United Methodist Church.
Private
family graveside services will be held at White Chapel Memory Gardens. A celebration of life will be held at a later
date. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton
is in charge of arrangements.
